Industrial hoist and crane maker Kito Corporation (head office: Nakakoma-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture; president: Yoshio Kito) announces that Kito Europe GmbH, its German subsidiary, has delivered ED chain hoists to ProKASRO to equip canal rehabilitation vehicles. Kito’s ED chain hoists were installed in 20 vehicles last year and another 20 will be equipped with Kito ED this year. Kito Europe has successfully offered the best solution for ProKASRO with an outstanding advantage in terms of saving time and effort. ProKASRO, headquartered in Karlsruhe, Germany, develops progressive sewer rehabilitation robotic systems. It was searching for a reliable tool to let the sewer rehabilitation robots which weigh up to 80 kg down into sewer shafts which can be as deep as 8 meters. Kito Europe was the one who provided ProKASRO with the best solution. Kito ED chain hoists offer an advantage in terms of efficiency as it cuts down the workers needed to handle the operation from two to only one. This enables ProKASRO vehicles to conduct even faster and more prompt canal rehabilitation works.
