Kito Introduces RY Wire-Rope Hoist, Designed and Developed In-House
Out in April in Japan, globally starting in summer
Tokyo, March 28, 2016 - Industrial hoist and crane maker Kito Corporation (head office: Nakakoma-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture; President: Yoshio Kito) announces the release of a new line of wire-rope hoists designed and developed in-house, the RY series. Sales begin in Japan on April 1 (Friday), starting with the 2.8-tonne short headroom model. In summer the line will begin to gradually expand to eventual global offerings. For the new line Kito has applied technologies it has been building over 80 years with chain hoists, such as its original variable frequency control system, pull-rotor motor braking and aluminum casing, to wire-rope hoists for enhanced safety, durability and functionality. Their simple structure makes these hoists easy to maintain, and greater durability and longer life are guaranteed.
<Features>
- Original variable frequency drive control
The original Kito variable frequency drive control system minimizes load swing. It restrains motion and brings the load to a halt quickly and efficiently.
- Pull-rotor braking for high safety
Complete control secures the hold on any load. Integrated inverter extends brake life.
- Lighter cases
Low-pressure aluminum casting reduces weight. Simple case designs ease maintenance.
